"GLOBAL WRAP" is a term that we have cherished all along. (We own registered trademarks for GLOBAL WRAP.)

It was first used in 1998 as part of the name of Global Wrap Consulting Group Co., Ltd. one of the origins of our corporation. As Japan's first investment trust wrap with an investment advisory contract, it was also used as the service name and dedicated investment trust name for GLOBAL WRAP, a globally diversified investment trust. The idea behind GLOBAL WRAP is to offer long-term diversified investment Wrap utilizing assets from around the globe.

Furthermore, it is used in some of the names of products and indexes for which the Corporation provides investment advice. As of the end of September 2024, it is used in various fund names, etc., as shown below.

In addition, when two corporations merged to become the Corporation in December 2006, the Corporation changed its name to Nikko Global Wrap Ltd., which has been favored by all until the end of September 2024.

As of October 1, 2024, we have changed our corporate name to SMBC Global Investment & Consulting Ltd. We are committed to cherishing and carrying forward the spirit of GLOBAL WRAP in the future.
